Samsung Galaxy S Advance: Wallet Friendly Android Smartphone


Samsung Galaxy S Advance mid-range mobile strikes a balance between style, power and performance. Sporting a stunning curved design seen on Galaxy Nexus, the new curved glass design improves grip of the Galaxy handset and fits the user’s facial form easily and naturally. The Galaxy S Advance sports a large 4 inch WVGA(480×800) Super AMOLED color display which offers bright vivid colors. Galaxy S also features ‘Find My Mobile’, a special lost-phone system that enables secure smartphone data encryption in the event of phone loss and also enables users to track their lost Galaxy phone through the internet and delete the data remotely.

Galaxy S Advance is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor, 768MB RAM and supports quad-band HSPA 14.4 Mbps connectivity. Other connectivity options include A-GPS, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0. Built with power and connectivity in mind, Galaxy S Advance delivers flexible and highly responsive user interface for easy multi tasking. Apps were launched almost immediately and user experience is enhance with fluid screen transitions, faster image processing and improved web download and browsing speed. Storage options include 8/16GB onboard options and supports microSD cards up to 32GB. This smartphone also sports 5-megapoixel rear-mounted snapper with 720p HD video recording capabilities and 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera. The smartphone is bundled with 1,500mAh Lithium Ion battery.

Running on Google Android 2.3 with Samsung TouchWiz skin, he Samsung Galaxy S Advance enables consumers to stay connected through the Samsung Hubs and Chat-ON services. Music Hub offers a complete music store experience with access to over 11 million music songs and the ability to fully customize users’ own music catalogues. Readers Hub offers access to over 2.3 million e-books, 3.500 magazine and 200 newspaper titles whereas Games Hub offers access to thousands of mobile games supplemented by gamer news feeds. Samsung will roll out the Galaxy S Advance in Russia in February and subsequently rolled out in CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.
