Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 was finally unwrapped officially on Aug. 29, just before IFA Berlin. Functioning as both a phone and a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 defied critics and comes with a bigger screen that its predecessor. The premium phablet is equipped with Super HD AMOLED 5.5 inch screen (1280 x 720 pixel), bigger than the previous Note with a 5.3 inch screen. The screen displays brilliantly vivid colors and deep blacks. Surprisingly, the Note 2 comes in thinner and narrower, at only 9.4mm thick and is light just like the Galaxy S3.
The improved S Pen stylus fits nicely at the bottom of the smartphone. The S Pen allows users to hover the icons to get more info without actually touching the screen. The 2nd Generation Galaxy Note is beefed up with a quad core 1.6GHz processor and 2GB of RAM to power its bigger screen and Android Jelly Bean 4.1. It also features impressive 8 megapixel snapper. The battery has also grown by almost 25 per cent, to 3,100mAH to cater for the larger screen. The Galaxy Note 2 comes in Marble White or Titanium Grey colour schemes.
