Nokia Lumia 610: Low End Affordable Lumia Windows Phone

Nokia 610 is Nokia’s fourth and least expensive in the Lumia range, built with the aim to introduce Windows Phone for the younger generation. The entry level Windows Phone comes handy to keep in touch with friends and family, fast access to social networks and integrating all mobile, email, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin contact into one place. It also allows seamless web browsing with Internet Explorer and to access games through Xbox Live. Preloaded with Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Transport and Nokia Music, users can also take full advantage of thousands of apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace to customize the experience. With a unique profile and finely beveled metallic edges, the Nokia Lumia 610 exudes premium quality.

Nokia Lumia 610 hardware specifications include 800MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera. The visual real estate consists of 3.7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) capacitive touchscreen display. Lumia 610 has 8GB of storage without support for external microSD card, but offers SkyDrive which allows users to store digital content on the cloud absolutely free. The 1,300mAh battery promises 6.5 hours of talk-time and 530 of standby. Connectivity options include HSDPA Cat 7, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + Edr. The Nokia Lumia 610 takes advantage of the updated software release from Microsoft delivering improved capabilities to the Windows 7.5 platform. The software release optimizes Windows Phone to support lower memory and processor requirements, yet does not compromise on the performance to produce more affordable products. Nokia Lumia 610 is preloaded with custom apps such as updated Nokia Drive, new Nokia Reading app for consuming news content and Nokia Music for streaming audio content. Nokia 610 is available in white, cyan, magenta and black, and is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2012.
