HTC 8X: Flagship Windows Phone 8 Smartphone

The latest HTC 8x powered by Windows Phone 8 OS makes a bold statement that Windows Phone should have made when it launched two years ago. Boasting a colorful 4.3 inch display, its 1270×720 super LCD 2 display looks sharp with 342ppi and is protected by Gorilla Glass. Its curved unibody design comes in four catching colors. The 8X also has rounded bottom and soft touch finish to feel comfortable in the palm. As for the specifications, it comes with powerful 1.5GHz dual core processor, 4G LTE speeds and dual band Wi-Fi.

At the rear, the 8MP camera with f2.0 28mm lens produces excellent quality photos. The 8x also comes with astonishing 2.1MP front facing camera that records at 1080p and has wide angle lens. Just like previous premium HTC smartphones, it produces excellent sound quality thanks to the Beats Audio and built in amplifiers. It also has something the iPhone 5 does have, the NFC (Near Field Communication) capability for sharing phone to phone and mobile payments. Unfortunately, it does not support external storage (SD slot) to expand beyond the 16GB built in storage. Well, the HTC 8X will definitely showcase the potential in Windows Phone 8. This smartphone will be available in November on on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.
