The BlackBerry Z10, arguably the device with more leaks than other smartphone is now official. The Z10 discards the classic QWERTY keypad that has become an icon of BlackBerry in favour of a full touchscreen device. Sporting a 4.2 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 768, the Z10 has a pixel density of 356ppi, slightly higher than the iPhone 5’s. The Z10 is powered by dual-core 1.5GHz processor, generous 1GB of RAM and includes 16GB of internal storage. Memory can be expanded up to 48GB with the microSD slot.
At the rear, the Z10 has an industry standard 8MP camera which is capable of capturing 1080p videos. The camera’s software also has an impressive feature called Time Shift, which snaps several shots quickly and allows users to select the best shot. The Z10 also has a 2MP front facing camera capable of 720p video recording. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth and also NFC. Other than that, there’s also a micro HDMI port, in addition to micro USB. Available in black and white, BlackBerry Z10’s launch date and price have not been announced.
